As part of the Curriculum CleanOut from Homeschool Creations, I am offering a couple of giveaways. The first offering is Abeka Arithmetic grade 2 Tests and Speed Drills student book and also the Teacher Key.

    As we complete our first year of homeschooling, we have decided to homeschool through the summer, with a few week long breaks for vacations and such. Now that we have done this as a family for a year, I'm wondering what we would do all day if we didn't have planned activities to do together? :)

    We homeschool through the summer. I live in the desert, and there is nothing else to do here when it's over 100 degrees. :)

    We're planning to start our new year in July and do eight weeks on, one week off. These weeks off coincide with the kids' birthday, so it's perfect!

    I will have a first/second grader and this will be our first year. I will admit we are SLIGHTLY on the fence still, but I think these would be perfect.... aaah. I just need to take the plunge :D

    Since we are child led learners we school all year round. We don't stop learning through the summer. I like to just keep going with whatever we are doing. It has just become a part of our daily life.
