In the State of New Hampshire, homeschoolers are required to have a portfolio evaluation or standardized testing done at the conclusion of their homeschool year. Results need to be submitted to the local superintendent by July 1.
I called our evaluator who did our evaluation last year and she scheduled us in for June 6th! I can't believe it, we now have an end in sight.
Peanut has moved on to 3rd grade math and reading and is finishing up the last of her second grade language arts. Next month is our local homeschool convention and I am in my planning stage for what curriculum I will buy for 3rd grade. Any recommendations for a hands-on, kinesthetic learner?
